A Read and Publish Agreement covering the years 2026–2028 has been signed between TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and Wiley. Under this agreement, and in accordance with the conditions provided in the link below, the corresponding authors affiliated with our institution will be able to publish free of charge in the open access journals selected by TÜBİTAK.

INFORMATION:
According to the information provided by TÜBİTAK:
Researchers who have previously submitted an article to Gold Open Access journals and whose manuscript is currently under “Under Review” status may receive an informational email as shown in the example below.
There is no need for concern for authors who receive this email. The message sent is part of an ongoing technical process.
Authors who receive this email will be able to apply to TÜBİTAK for the Article Processing Charge (APC) after their article is accepted, as stated in the email below. This does not imply any loss of rights. The application steps are provided in the author workflows document.
In Wiley Gold Open Access article workflows, APC applications submitted at the manuscript submission stage do not result in an advance quota reservation. As in hybrid journals, authors may request APC support from TÜBİTAK after their article is accepted and if the eligibility criteria are met. In other words, the author may apply for APC support either during the submission stage or after the article is accepted; in both cases, if the agreement is active on the date of acceptance, if quota is available, and if the article meets the TÜBİTAK criteria, open access approval may be granted.

Your funding request has been cancelled due to a change in the terms of the agreement between Wiley and TUBITAK ULAKBIM.
Please note that if your article is currently undergoing peer review, you may have a second opportunity to apply for APC funding coverage once your article is editorially accepted, if:

  • your institution has an agreement that covers fully gold OA journals and has sufficient funding at time of acceptance of your manuscript and license signing, or if
  • your affiliations enable you to apply for funding from an alternative institution/funder
