We would like to inform you about the special agreements we made with these databases below. As a result of the agreements made with these databases, our faculty members will be able to publish their articles as open access (OA) without paying the article processing charge (APC) in their publications as responsible authors. The information of these databases and the details about the subject are given below:
American Chemical Society (ACS)
The Read & Publish agreement between the American Chemical Society (ACS) and ANKOS for the 2025-2027 period (3 years) has been finalized. Under this agreement, publications in ACS journals with a corresponding author affiliated with our institution will be published as open access without paying an Article Processing Charge (APC), up to the institution-specific token (quota) determined by ANKOS and the publisher. Institutions will also continue to have reading access to research article content included in institutional subscriptions.
Publications accepted from January 1, 2025, onwards will be eligible for the 2025 support. Additions, corrections, book chapters, and editorials are not covered under this agreement.
The quota assigned to our institution under this agreement is 7 articles per year. Submitted publications are processed through the platform established by ACS, and approvals are granted by the ANKOS representative in order of application. Once 7 institution-affiliated publications have been approved, additional submissions will not be eligible for support. If the institutional quota for 2025 is fully utilized, the author of the relevant publication will be responsible for covering the APC fee. The remaining quota information will be updated on our website based on updates provided by ANKOS.
You can find the list of supported ACS journals in here.

Since only hybrid journals are included in the agreement, authors will be able to publish their articles as closed access without paying any fees.
The 2026 quota includes 3,090 articles and will be available as of January 1, 2026.
